Not been around much, and boy has Deviant Art had some changes!

Been a little down of late, and just getting back into crafting and art, and internet socialising in general.

It's been a hard year, we had to have Hige the rat put to sleep in March, and his brother Toboe had to follow in July. I miss them terribly, we both do.

Tate and Lyle are still with us, the last of our rats. Tate has breathing problems and Lyle has hind leg issues, but both are happy, full of beans, and spend much of their time getting into mischief.

Will hopefully get some sort of art done soon.

Now the festive period is over I've come out of hiding
I just don't like it because of the stress of families, the expectations and the anticlimax which comes with it all...

Any way, on a sadder note, Rowdy passed over to the bridge 13th December. He was my oldest boy at 2 1/2 years old. I have found it hard to talk about but I feel better now. It's still empty here without him, but my other ratty friends are giving me a good run for my money in the stress and chaos department.

I'm doing introductions between the four of them and it's hilarious, stressful, but funny. I'll take some pics. I don't think they'll be living together soon lol

Almost all done with really really outstanding commissions sorry for all concerned, notes and updates to be sent this next week on my upcoming days off.

Work is fantastic, shame it finishes end of the month hope to keep in touch with some fab people and I also have some commissions from them, woo!

For those wondering, the rats are doing well, Rowdy, my 2 year 4 month guy is still well, very skinny but still full of beans and loving cuddles. The others are fine, a couple of vets trips are needed but nothing terribly urgent are needed, just an abscess to be drained for Tate, x-ray for Rowdy and hopefully some steroids and some steroids for Hige as he is in the early phase of hind leg degeneration.

They have a brand new cage though which is awesome and means even though they live apart the two groups now share the same cage, split into two. They had a brief meeting tonight though which means maybe they might live together nicely one day...

So, em yeah, I'm off work sick today, have like a million and one horse related projects and commissions. What am I sat drawing? Yeah you guessed it...a fox.

I wouldn't mind if my fox art was good, or at least unique. But it's bog standard. So why do I end up drawing foxes huh?
